ArmorQuest
ArmorQuest is an allegorical fantasy comic, written by Ben Avery (creator of The Hedge Knight, The Hedge Knight II: The Sworn Sword and The Oz/Wonderland Chronicles) and drawn by Sherwin Schwartzrock who, according to www.webcomics.cc, "is one of those rare artists who truly does deserve Spider-Man title adjectives appended to his name. The story centers around a young boy named Timothy who is entrusted with a sword which has special capabilites. He has to learn to use the sword in order to combat the dragons that plague his world, and to whom he lost his father. Along the way he meets the Eagle Riders, Knights of the Way, the Shepherd, etc.
It's an excellent story, well drawn and well told, and it's available to read online at webcomics.cc, a division of the publishers Community Comics, and also at www.clashentertainment.com. The comics are also available to purchase at Lamp Post Inc. and various other online booksellers such as Amazon.com.
