Scales pt.1 - C, F and G
Apart from learning songs, it's a good idea to learn scales. They're the main way of gaining dexterity and strength in the fingers. They're also important for learning where the notes are on the guitar, perparing for improvisation, and developing your knowledge of music in general.
Here are three scales to begin with, C major, F major and G major. The fingering for each of these scales is the same as the fret numbers.

These files are, for the most part, the author's own work, and the author's own interpretation of the song. They were created and worked out in order to encourage others to experience the joy of learning an instrument and playing music. They also serve to explore songwriting skills, wordcraft, chord structures, perfomance ideas, etc. To this end they are therefore only for private study, scholarship, or research.
