This is a vocal arrangement of the American traditional/folk song 'House of the Rising Sun' (made famous in the 1960s by English group The Animals) that I worked out for the English speaking choir s[i]nglish that I help run.
The arrangement uses the melody and basic harmonic progression found in the track by The Animals, but with one or two alterations, notably altering the D major chord to a D minor chord for verses 2,3,4 and 5, and then changing around the order of other chords too.
