Scales pt.3 - C, D and F
Here's the next stage in learning scales. The C major scale is made up of the same notes as in pt.1 but with the hand in 2nd position. The D major scale is silimarly in 2nd position. The F major scale, however, begins with the hand in the 2nd position, then moves to the 3rd position, before returning to the 2nd position to finish the scale.
N.B. Because the hand is beginning to change positions on the fret board, it's particularly important to start paying attention to left-hand fingering given up the music notation. (Refer to finger numbers and names)
C major - 2nd position

D major - 2nd position

F major - 2nd/3rd position

These files are, for the most part, the author's own work, and the author's own interpretation of the song. They were created and worked out in order to encourage others to experience the joy of learning an instrument and playing music. They also serve to explore songwriting skills, wordcraft, chord structures, perfomance ideas, etc. To this end they are therefore only for private study, scholarship, or research.
